I love that type of moth:first of all because they are so colorful and second because they are not afraid of human and if you put slowly the finger near them they walk over the finger...it's so beautiful!

i was wandering if you'd call them moths, as in my language moths are only those that eat clothes and some really grey ones, the rest are called butterfiles - diurnal or nocturnal :)
this one, and the one with white dots are both fantastic that was that you can have them on your hand and they don't care. i used to do that when i was a kid, being careful not to hurt them :)

oh yeah...I mean they are nocturnal butterflies...in my book are classified "moth" so I write this.Another beautiful and colorful nocturnal butterfly in my country is the arctia caja...I love them all!

i'm like that, i love all the nature too... only at the time you have to specialize in something, and for me it was botany. can't really remember all the names for everything, and even with plants in my country (which is rather small) we have more than 5000 taca, plus i work on lichens and i counted over 1000 taca of the. naturally, i know only some of them, but i work in their protection and documenting :)

oh yeah...I've seen the picture of all the lichens you made...it's a lot of work and I know how it's difficult to classify the lichens(I've a manual about lichens, fern and moss and the key for the identification is very difficult to use...for me...maybe for you it's not ^_^)
